Michael is a former champion Australian Rules footballer, having played 303 games with the Sydney Swans, achieving not only the Premiership but All-Australian selection (twice) and, in 2015, induction into the AFL Hall of Fame.
Post football, in 2015 Michael embarked on a new chapter, applying his leadership and team-building skills to the establishment of CMC Indigenous Services, now ARA Indigenous Services.
Drawing upon his life experiences as an advocate and mentor in the Indigenous community, Michael has positioned the company at the forefront of Indigenous education, support and engagement in the property services industry.

Paul McCann

Paul has experience within all aspects of property services. Paul founded CMC Property Services in 1994 and as such has built the company from its basic beginnings to where it is today.
Paul is co-founder of ARA Indigenous Services/CMC and will act as a businesss mentor to Michael.
Paul has served on the BSCAA executive for more than 12 years and is currently the Victorian President. He is also a member of Facilities Management Australia.

Suzanne Grech
GENERAL MANAGER
Suzanne Grech is a Gamilaraay woman from Coonabarabran NSW, a proud Indigenous woman and advocate for Indigenous affairs for over 13 years.
After completing studies in business, Suzanne begun her journey with the Bush Food Sensation program which sparked her passion for business. Suzanne seized an opportunity to start her own business building key relationships with clients, developing community programs in food nutrition and culture and providing local employment to the communities it serviced.
In 2013, Suzanne became the first Indigenous Female Supplier Diversity Relationship Manager in corporate Australia. Working with Westpac’s Procurement Team, Suzanne led the way in supplier diversity and established Westpac Procurements’ first inclusion on its RAP (Reconciliation Action Plan) commitments. Suzanne was instrumental in developing partnerships that aligned to increased employment opportunities and initiatives for Indigenous Australians.
As General Manager, Suzanne will use her passion for Indigenous business to continue to nurture, grow and support Indigenous business in the property services industry.

Michael is a proud Wiradjuri decendant from the Dubbo/Wellington area.
Michael has had a varied career in the grounds maintenance industry. Most recently, Michael was the Health and Safety Chairman in the Building industry and was responsible for cultural harmony in the workplace for over 1000 staff and contractors from diverse cultural backgrounds.
In his role as Indigenous Engagement Officer, Michael will draw on his life and work experience to recruit, mentor and motive Indigenous staff.
He will lead our team to execute Indigenous engagement strategies and assist in the implementation of Indigenous employment plans across the business to enable sustainable outcomes.
Mark Helps

Mark has been involved in the facilities management industry for almost 40 years.
He has worked for several different organisations, from medium sized private businesses, to large national and international corporations, with a unique understanding of what motivates and drives different sized businesses.
Mark is experienced in dealing with clients and staff at all levels. His key competencies include strong leadership and decision making, team building, financial analysis and control, commercial aptitude, start up dynamics and business development, organisational development, communication and interpersonal skills, and ethical standards.
Over Marks years of experience within the Facilities Industry he has established definitive benchmarks to ensure the outcomes and relative KPI’s are met to enable a viable and deliverable service for all parties.
