Michael O’Loughlin

Michael is a proud Narungga, Ngarrindjeri & Kaurna man from South Australia and a former champion Australian Rules footballer, having played 303 games with the Sydney Swans, achieving not only the Premiership but All-Australian selection (twice) and, in 2015, induction into the AFL Hall of Fame.

Post football, in 2015 Michael embarked on a new chapter, applying his leadership and team-building skills to the establishment of CMC Indigenous Services, now ARA Indigenous Services.

Drawing upon his life experiences as an advocate and mentor in the Indigenous community, Michael has positioned the company at the forefront of Indigenous education, support and engagement in the property services industry.

Paul McCann


Bachelor of Town Planning (Victoria University)

Paul has experience within all aspects of property services. Paul founded CMC Property Services in 1994 and as such has built the company from its basic beginnings to where it is today.

Paul is co-founder of ARA Indigenous Services/CMC and will act as a businesss mentor to Michael.

Paul has served on the BSCAA executive for more than 12 years and is currently the Victorian President. He is also a member of Facilities Management Australia.

Rohan Tobler-Williams

Manager – Strategy & Growth

Born in South West Sydney – Aboriginal cultural ties to, Yidinji Country Bunna Binda Far North Queensland and Wakka Wakka Queensland.

Rohan’s working life began at 15 years old as an apprentice carpenter, over the next six years he spent time as a Safety Officer, Foreman and Union Official. Rohan’s Professional Career really took shape when he was appointed as a Project Manager for the Redfern Waterloo Authority, overseeing the Koori Job Ready Program, and the Authorities Aboriginal Participation, in Construction Guidelines which became the catalyst for what we know today as APIC, Aboriginal Participation in Construction.

Rohan then spent three years at the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence, as the General Manager of Enterprises and six years at the AES as the National Commercial Business Development Manager. Some of Rohan’s highlights, is being selected in 2013, as one of Australia’s Top 11 Emerging Leaders and completing a scholarship in 2014 with Crown College in the Next Gen Leaders Program.

As Manager in Strategy and Growth, Rohan will use his consultative approach to develop and unlock growth opportunities for Indigenous business by investing in strategic initiatives to create greater value for our team, community and organisation.

Joshua Toomey


Joshua is a proud Wiradjuri man from Wellington, NSW.

Joshua’s passion has always been around helping support the wider community, to upskill themselves through education and training, break free from previous constraints, and encourage everyone to reach their full potential.

Joshua continuously strives to become a better person, and role model for his family and community.

His passion for developing others is reflected in his personal goals, to become a new brand of leader, and stand for the idea of change.  Joshua believes through his actions, anything is achievable.

He is committed to continuing his mission to motivate other Indigenous Australians, into empowering their lives as a means of creating positive and sustainable change within communities.

Joshua has strong communication skills, support network, self-determination and ability to motivate and encourage others and is driven by the desire to improve the lives of many other young Aboriginal peoples from a variety of educational and social backgrounds.

Alex Stengle


Alex is a proud Narungga, Ngarrindjeri & Kaurna man from South Australia.

Alex is an Aboriginal Man who identifies with Kaurna Country of the Adelaide Plains and people of Narrunga Nation of
the York Peninsula and Ngarrindjeri of the Murray River, Fleurieu Peninsula and the Coorong.

Alex’s career started out taking on an apprenticeship in carpentry, doing fit outs of office partitions and shop fronts ,as well as the odd first and second fix works.

Alex has over 3 years experience in civil construction work on various road projects throughout Adelaide.

In 2019, he relocated with his family to Queensland, where he began his Corporate Career with ARA Indigenous Services in 2020, as an Aboriginal Engagement Officer and is now  proud to be an Indigenous Relationship Manager.

Alex is passionate in his role, and finds it very rewarding in helping to find employment, training and education opportunities to further advance Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, in contributing to society and creating sustainable and meaningful career journeys within the ARA Group.
