Founded in 2015 by Michael O’Loughlin and Paul McCann as CMC Indigenous Services, we are now part of the ARA Group, one of Australia’s leading facility and infrastructure solutions providers.
In May 2017, we partnered with the ARA Group to become ARA Indigenous Services, with a performance-driven business culture and a social agenda to support, engage, and inspire Indigenous Australians.

Meet OUR team
Michael is a proud Narungga, Ngarrindjeri & Kaurna man from South Australia and a former champion Australian Rules footballer, having played 303 games with the Sydney Swans, achieving not only the Premiership but All-Australian selection (twice) and, in 2015, induction into the AFL Hall of Fame.
Post football, in 2015 Michael embarked on a new chapter, applying his leadership and team-building skills to the establishment of CMC Indigenous Services, now ARA Indigenous Services.
Drawing upon his life experiences as an advocate and mentor in the Indigenous community, Michael has positioned the company at the forefront of Indigenous education, support and engagement in the property services industry.
Rohan, with roots in South-West Sydney and Aboriginal ties to Yidinji Country and Wakka Wakka, Queensland, embarked on his career at 15 as an apprentice carpenter, progressing through roles as a Safety Officer, Foreman, and Union Official. His career advanced significantly when he became a Project Manager for the Redfern Waterloo Authority, driving the Koori Job Ready Program and Aboriginal Participation in Construction, laying the groundwork for APIC. Later, he contributed as the General Manager of Enterprises at the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence and as the National Commercial Business Development Manager at AES.
Recognised as one of Australia’s Top 11 Emerging Leaders in 2013 and a participant in the 2014 Next Gen Leaders Program with Crown College, Rohan’s achievements include being named a top Indigenous Executive by the Australian Financial Review in 2023.
Now serving as the General Manager of ARA Indigenous Services, he aims to foster Indigenous business growth through strategic investments, benefiting the team, community, and organisation.
Nicole Glynn is a 42-year-old proud Indigenous woman who was raised on Gadigal country. Born and bred in Newtown/St Peters – a relatively tough inner Sydney city suburb with a good blend of both Indigenous and non-Indigenous people – Nicole was only the fourth in her family to attend high school.
Nicole commenced working with ARA in a part-time cleaning role shortly after having her fourth child. Surrounded by a number of supportive mentors through ARA’s Wiimali program, it didn’t take long for Nicole to advance into a leadership role. Within her first year with the company, Nicole moved from cleaner to Client Retention Manager with the Property Services division.It was her role with ARA Mechanical as Indigenous Account Manager that she became more active as a Wiimali program mentor and witnessed, firsthand, the positive outcomes and opportunities for our Indigenous people and communities as ARA Group and ARA Indigenous Service grow.
Today, Nicole works in a Contracts/Reporting Lead role for ARA Indigenous Services, where she witnesses, more than ever, just how many opportunities ARA are creating for Indigenous people.
I am a proud Aboriginal man born on an Aboriginal mission on the Barwon River, Brewarrinna. The town is located amid the traditional lands of the Muruwari, Ngemba, Weilwan and Yualwarri peoples.
Whilst this is my place of birth, my mob is from YAEGL country around Maclean and Yamba areas. My mother went to Brewarrina in 1960 to avoid the authorities from the Aborigines Protection Board, as she was already a member of the stolen generations, having been forcibly removed along with all her siblings when she was a young girl.
In more recent times I was an Aboriginal HR Advisor with the then NSW Department of Justice for 15 years before moving to Sydney Trains in 2019, where I was employed as an Aboriginal Employment Coordinator. I then did a short stint as a Senior Recruiter for Aspire Indigenous. I have recently joined the ARA Indigenous Services team and I am looking forward to being part of a team that is passionate and committed to helping our mob find careers that align with their goals and expectations.
Alex is a proud Narungga, Ngarrindjeri & Kaurna man from South Australia.
Alex is an Aboriginal Man who identifies with Kaurna Country of the Adelaide Plains and people of Narrunga Nation of
the York Peninsula and Ngarrindjeri of the Murray River, Fleurieu Peninsula and the Coorong.
Alex’s career started out taking on an apprenticeship in carpentry, doing fit outs of office partitions and shop fronts ,as well as the odd first and second fix works. In 2019, he relocated with his family to Queensland, where he began his Corporate Career with ARA Indigenous Services in 2020, as an Aboriginal Engagement Officer and is now proud to be an Indigenous Relationship Manager.
Alex is passionate in his role, and finds it very rewarding in helping to find employment, training and education opportunities to further advance Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, in contributing to society and creating sustainable and meaningful career journeys within the ARA Group.

ARA Indigenous Services is a certified member of Supply Nation, the New South Wales Indigenous Chamber of Commerce (NSWICC) and the First Australians Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FACCI).
Supply Nation is an Australian leader in supplier diversity, working with Indigenous suppliers, businesses and procurement teams to level the playing field for minor businesses providing opportunity to all and localising our supply chains. We are the Supply Nation Certified Supplier of the Year for 2017.
The NSWICC provides a forum for networking and fostering the establishment of strategic relationships with local and indigenous suppliers. This will nurture our aim of engagement and provide the tools to us to support and build sustainable relationships.
FACCI was established in April 2015 working as a Peak Body organisation providing First Australian Businesses a National and Global voice. The FACCI model is designed to ensure that the voice of every First Australian business owner is heard, respected and supported in their contribution to the Australian Economy and development of their sectors.
