Nicole Glynn is a 42-year-old proud Indigenous woman who was raised on Gadigal country. Born and bred in Newtown/St Peters – a relatively tough inner Sydney city suburb with a good blend of both Indigenous and non-Indigenous people – Nicole was only the fourth in her family to attend high school.

Nicole commenced working with ARA in a part-time cleaning role shortly after having her fourth child. Surrounded by a number of supportive mentors through ARA’s Wiimali program, it didn’t take long for Nicole to advance into a leadership role. Within her first year with the company, Nicole moved from cleaner to Client Retention Manager with the Property Services division. It was her role with ARA Mechanical as Indigenous Account Manager that she became more active as a Wiimali program mentor and witnessed, firsthand, the positive outcomes and opportunities for our Indigenous people and communities as ARA Group and ARA Indigenous Service grow.

Today, Nicole works in a Contracts/Reporting Lead role for ARA Indigenous Services, where she witnesses, more than ever, just how many opportunities ARA are creating for Indigenous people.
